Working Cow Horses

We are proud of our mares. They are the cornerstone of our breeding program.  All of our mares have proven themselves before being added to our broodmare band!  Everyone has had countless hours on the trail, working on the farm, and/or proved themselves in the show pen.  Only then do we KNOW they will pass on thoses same great traits to their foals. 

All mares carry some of the best bloodlines in the industry. Names such as Freckles Playboy, Doc's Remedy, Doc's Hickory, Zan Parr Bar, Peponita, Mr Matlock, Magnificient Six, Doc Tari, Doc Bar, Doc's Tokay, Cutter Bill, Doc's Sug, Colonel Freckles, Doc Olena, Two Eyed Jack, Gay Bar King, and Hancock.  All of our mares and foals are handled daily, all our mares also ride!

Zan Peppy Sugar  : 2000 AQHA Bay Mare, aka: Zan    Zan was show at halter as a yearling and two year old.  She qualified for Alabama Open Horseman Assoication (AOHA)  Show in Montgomery, and Alabama State 4-H Show both years.  Zan earned Reserve State Champion as a yearling in State 4-H.  She also earned 9th Place out of 37 horses in the AOHA Show as a yearling. In all, Zan earned 18 First Place and 8 Second Place finishes out of 36 shows, with 3 Reserve Champion wins!  She is just a great all around mare that does alittle of it all.   Zan is NOT FOR SALE!!

BELLE QUIXOTE ACRE : AKA-"Belle"  2000 AQHA Bay Mare  14'2 hands

Belle IS A TEAM PENNING MONEY EARNER!!!!! 

 Belle is our newest addition to our farm.  We purchased Belle on March 21, 2009.  Her pedigree is just FULL of money earners, some of the best bloodlines in the cow horse industry.  It starts with her sire: PEPONITAS ACRE , who has won over $250,000 in NCHA earnings.  He is a sire of NCHA money earners of over $60,000.  Peponitas Acre is sired by the great Bob Acre Doc.  Belles' dam is BELLE QUIXOTE, she is the dam of AQHA point earners.  Belle Quixote is by a NCHA ME son of Doc Quixote!

 Doc's Lady Galan 1997 AQHA Chestnut Mare, aka:Galan, she is an own daughter of Doc's Tokay x Doc Bar.  Doc's Tokay was a NCHA money earner with a COA. He was an awesome cutting horse and passed that talent down to his foals.  We are very proud to have Galan in our broodmare band, she is one of the few daughters left by Doc's Tokay.  She's out of an own daughter of Gaylan Boy x Gay Bar King!!!  She has produced 3 awesome foals by Ace High Hickory.  Her 2007 colt by Ace High Hickory is currently in training and doing very well!  Galan's 2008 red dun filly "Tokay" is currently in cutting training. 

Galan is in foal to Remey for 2010!!!  Foal will be double bred Doc's Tokay!!!!
